Disability Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) was founded in 1999 when president, John F. Nichols, discovered firsthand the importance of having disability coverage – and the difficulties in navigating the maze of companies, contract language and underwriting regulations. Struck down by an accident in 1993, he was told that he would likely be a quadriplegic. Determined to fight, John regained his ability to walk, reaching a progress level that less than one percent of patients with his diagnosis achieve.
This life-changing event led to the formation of Disability Resource Group, recognized today as one of the nation’s most recognized wholesalers of disability products. Today DRG works with over 5,000 financial service representatives throughout the United States. DRG is continuing John’s legacy and is a team of recognized disability insurance professionals who share the passion for this challenging field.
